When the initial signs of mackerel presence emerge, sports fisherman occupy the entire Swedish west coast to welcome their summer visitors. The mackerel population on the Swedish west coast is considered as healthy, but a decline in population size is expected and we therefore need to do everything in our power to protect this beautiful species.
